Starbucks Iconsiam Thailand: As the artist behind the mesmerizing Layer Acrylic Coffee Wheel, I’ve had the pleasure of infusing color and creativity into the ambiance of this iconic Starbucks location. Located in the heart of Bangkok’s vibrant Iconsiam Mall, our café is a haven for coffee enthusiasts and art aficionados alike. The Layer Acrylic Coffee Wheel is a painting masterpiece, crafted with five concentric circles that overlay together to create a stunning visual representation of our coffee offerings.
The opportunity to take part in the artistic installation at Starbucks ICONSIAM, contributing through meticulous hand-painted illustrations on five layers of clear acrylic sheets. When stacked together, these layers create an impressive visual depth and multidimensional effect.
The artwork was designed by Ann Irin, who drew inspiration from the Coffee Tasting Wheel, expressing the rich and complex flavors of coffee through rhythmic and precise graphic elements.
We paid close attention to every step of the hand-painting process to maintain the integrity of the original design. Using specialized techniques for painting on acrylic, we ensured each layer remained transparent and harmoniously aligned—bringing the piece to life from every angle.
